Maksudnya "dan" kami utus, "kepada kaum ad" mereka adalah suku yang terkenal yang tinggal di negeri ahqaf di daerah yaman "saudara mereka" dalam nasab "hud" agar mereka bisa mengambil darinya dan mengetahui kebenarannya. وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۚ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ ۖ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا مُفْتَرُونَ. this is a book whose verses are perfected and then presented in detail from one who is wise and acquainted. الۤرٰ ۗ كِتٰبٌ اُحْكِمَتْ اٰيٰتُهٗ ثُمَّ فُصِّلَتْ مِنْ لَّدُنْ حَكِيْمٍ خَبِيْرٍۙ alif lām rā, kitābun uḥkimat āyātuhụ ṡumma fuṣṣilat mil ladun ḥakīmin khabīr alif lam ra. ˹this is˺ a book whose verses are well perfected and then fully explained.
Dan kepada kaum 'ad (kami utus) saudara mereka, hud.
